Fermentation Cooler

Why ? To have the best control over the temperature during fermentation process.

To make Fermentation Cooler we need:

  • old fridge (that works), 
  • 8 x wooden boards (125 cm x 5 cm x 2,5 cm / 49,2 inch x 2 inch x 1 inch),
  • 4 x wooden boards (150 cm x 5 cm x 2,5 cm / 59 inch x 2 inch x 1 inch),
  • 8 x wooden boards (46 cm x 5 cm x 2,5 cm / 18 inch x 2 inch x 1 inch),
  • 2 x wooden (flounder) plates (56 cm x 150 cm x 2,5 cm / 22 inch x 59 inch x 1 inch),
  • 7 x wooden (flounder) plates (50 cm x 130 cm x 2,5 cm / 19,7 inch x 51,2 inch x 1 inch),
  • 10 x styrofoam plates (50 cm x 100 cm / 19,7 inch x 39,4 inch), thickness 2,5 cm / 1 inch
  • 8 x styrofoam plates (50 cm x 100 cm / 19,7 inch x 39,4 inch), (thickness 5 cm / 2 inch)
  • 1 x wooden board (40 cm x 140 cm x 2,5 cm / 15,7 inch x 55,1 inch x 1 inch) – this is for bottom of the cooler – above the styrofoam,
  • aluminium foil (12 m x 1 m / 40 feet x 39,4 inch),
  • temperature controller ( you can find it on e-bay),
  • duck tape
  • 2 x handles,
  • 1 x plastic box for electricity,
  • 16 x corner brackets,
  • 6 x wheels
  • screws
